Sheila Bailey

Sheila M. Bailey is a bible teacher, engager of people, conference speaker and builder of women. Lovingly known as Sheila B., her mantra is, “Live on What’s Left”. First lady, turned mentor, author, and advocate for minister’s wives and women in ministry, has built her life sharing God’s truths. She serves as President of Sheila B. Ministries. She received a B.A. in Christian Education from Bishop College in Dallas, Texas and an Honorary Doctor of Humanities degree from Dallas Baptist University.

Dr. Sheila Bailey has received numerous awards and serves on various boards for colleges. She is also a sought after speaker who shares the gospel, both nationally and internationally.

As a member of Concord Church, where Pastor Bryan and Lady Stephanie Carter are pastor and first lady, she is thankful to have shared the journey with her husband there who founded Concord in 1975.

Dr. Bailey and the late Dr. E.K. Bailey have two daughters, Cokiesha Robinson (Timothy) and Shenikwa Cager (Stephen), a son, Emon Bailey, and two granddaughters. She is author of Makeovers with Leftovers, co-authored The Inheritance and a contributing writer for Fulfilled: The NIV Devotional Bible for Single Women.
